My Books
My books
I write books that help children explore and understand their emotions and guide parents, caregivers and teachers on how to engage in conversations that promote positive change.
All my stories have been researched and crafted alongside clinical and educational psychologists, teachers, parents, caregivers, grandparents, SENs, bereavement cousellors and children themselves. Each story has a theme covering topics such as seperation anxiety, bereavement, bulling, kindness and respect.
I am often told that through my books, I bridge the emotional and conversational gaps between adults and children, making it easier to direct change and encourage emotional resilience and empathy through open dialogue.
My books and activity packs are valuable resources for both home and classroom learning.

The Little Paws Hotel
The Animorals
My books, together with the free activity packs, are a starting point to guide meaningful conversations and build emotional resilience in children. The 5 books are:

• Bonnie’s mess in the nest – acceptance
• Wilbur’s gigantic splash – gratitude
• Tessa’s summer part – respect
The 6 books are:
• Olive – separation/anxiety
• Fig – perfectionism (worries about making mistakes)
• Peggy – repeated unkindness / bullying
• Dudley – being bullied
• Basil – bereavement & grief
• Gus – fear of new experiences
Both series of books are printed by a Carbon Balanced Printer with World Land Trust, Impress Print Services, and are made with sustainable materials.

Handbook for Parents & Teachers
The Daesy Dialogue
Simple things can feel overwhelming to children. For them to learn emotional intelligence and resilience skills, such as managing stress, standing up to bullying, and practicing kindness, it’s essential for parents, caregivers and educators to support these emotions and behaviours by ensuring they are being taught, modelled and encouraged consistently.
Whatever role you find yourself in with young children it’s important you find ways to help them explore how they feel and how to work through their emotions.
With this in mind, I have created The Daesy Dialogue Handbook, an easy-to-use talking tool kit, designed for parents, caregivers, and teachers. It offers clear, actionable steps that provide prompts and practical suggestions for navigating conversations about challenging emotions and behaviours It is a framework that guides and equips parents, caregivers and teachers to promote emotional growth in a constructive and healthy way.
The unique spelling of ‘Daesy’ (with an ‘a’ and ‘e’) is intentional, much like how ‘A&E’ in hospitals stands for ‘Accident & Emergency.’ In my teachings, these ‘A&E’ words are like emotional first aid – they open the door to deeper conversations by providing direction in my conversations. By paying attention to my own emotions and triggers, it helped me to embrace by children’s emotions, making them feel seen, heard, and supported.

Read-Along Video
Say What?! Jingle
My activity packs are the perfect companion to The Animorals and The Little Paws Hotel. They deepen children’s understanding of the book themes with engaging questions and hands-on crafts, encouraging meaningful conversations at home or in the classroom.
My read-along video adds an extra layer of fun to the learning experience! In the video, I bring the story of Olive – which addresses separation and anxiety – to life in a more interactive way. Using my soft dog toys as props, I deliver a show-and-tell style session that keeps children engaged, even when I can’t be there in person.
Inspired by my book Say What?!, this catchy jingle is designed to challenge your children’s memory while empahsising key themes from the story. The sing-along format makes learning fun and helps children recall important gospel truths in a memorable and engaging way.
